folks, I am wondering how hot these external usb memory stick drives can get? I bought my firsat one, a Staples house brand 64mb. I notice it is quite warm when I go to pull it out. At what point is heat a sign of a problem?

Anone got any thoughts on the subject?

Interesting . . . my 64 mb stick (Staples brand)gets hot, but not too hot to touch, while my new 1 gb stick I just received ("black apple" brand) hardly feels warm at all.

    Just curious is all.

I prefer the ones with an aluminum body for that very same reason. Currently, all mine have plastic housings but my next, will be aluminum. It's probably not an issue, but would give me more peace of mind.

Mine has a rubberized outside which is great. Doesn't get too hot at all and dosen't scratch/get scratched in my pocket either. It's a Corsair Flash Voyager.
