UPS Truck Arrived Today

    I ordered the PSA upper on Feb 8th, given a 15 day delivery time frame. Today is the 14th day.

    16" Mid Length SS Barrel

    .223 Wylde Chamber 1/8

    With the Nikon M-223 1x4 Scope it will wear, mount is a Nikon M-223 mount on a YH Riser

    So now I need, well everything else......

    Overall 1st day never having fire it impression is very good. Seems to be a well built upper. Fit and finish appears very nice. For $359 I am happy with it. Time will tell but I have a good feeling about it.

    Good start! You can find a good used low-round count Colt BCG for ~$80 or get a new one for like $120.

    Looks sharp. Congrats. Whats it going to be set up for? General fun? 3 gun? UPS truck just showed up at my house too! But it was just pillows that my wife ordered.

    Thanks, found a Daniel Defense BGC for around $140 NIB, what do you think?

    Thanks as well. General fun, maybe when the kids don't take all the time up I can 3 gun :)

    Mine is a dude, but hey it's 2012 and if he is bringing gun stuff......well I gots to do what I gots to do :rofl:

    Actually he is the same UPS guy who delivers to my work so I see him 5 days a week :)

    Good score. Is this first purchase from PSA? I have had my eye on them for a while and they seem to have great stuff.

    Thanks. Yeah first PSA. I have uppers from LMT & BCM but this is my first purchase from PSA. I will update with pics as I build. I am going to try and be responsible and not buy everything at once to finish it :rofl: I want to build as I buy parts over time.

    Congratulations.

    I was going to get one of those uppers for a lower cost coyote rifle, THEN the damn things went out of stock. I ended up buying a barrel for darn near what that upper costs.:upeyes:

    Please tell us what kind of accuracy you are getting with it.

    If you didn't live so far away I'd help you finish it and ring it out.:wavey:

    Nothing like a 32 or 36 power scope and a target trigger to find out the potential. :tongueout:

    You could have added $80 and got a PSA bolt carrier group. It will be difficult to buy the same from another manufacturer, one that is also High Pressure tested like the PSA.

    It will be interesting to see how that SS barrel shoots!

    Congrats!! Give us a range report with that optic and maybe some different types of ammo to see how it shoots!
