Just took a few pics of my G19 as she is currently outfitted. All the usually stuff, and sporting a KKM barrel, and Heinie Ledge sights. The barrel was for some test loads I was playing with. I am carrying the new Hornady Critical Duty 135 +P load and this KKM barrel runs them perfectly. Anyway here are a few pics, enjoy. TXPO

Nice job, especially getting rid of the swell on the backstrap.

I like how you flatten the trigger guard instead of the usual undercutting, looks fantastic.

    Nice work!

I have a KKM in my G20SF, and will probably never use the stock barrel any more, except to trade or sell it.

Looks good! But whats with the ammo? LEO Only? Looks like regular old Hornady Critical Defense to me.... Or do these have orange rubber inserts as opposed to red or green?

The bullet design is slightly different from the Critical Defense. The bullet core material is also harder than the Critical Defense. The weight on the Critical Duty is 135 grain +P compared to the 115 Critical Defense load. The Critical Duty load is designed to defeat intermediate barriers. I can tell you just about everything I have shot this stuff at it defeats easily and still has good penetration. In a CCW application I think it would be a little much in the penetration department. As an LE, we would be more likely to encounter an intermediate barrier in an armed encounter. TXPO

regarding "loosing the hump" is that a worthwhile modification? Does it change the handling characteristics of the gun?

The ammo isn't LEO only, I believe the 50 round boxes are for LEO sales though.

Great job as usual Lane. As soon as I get a chance, I will post the pics of the OD Glock 36 he just completed for a friend of mine. It also turned out great.
