I just wanted to let all my friends and family what I found out today during my appointment with the Cardio doctor. The meds that I've been taking for A-fib are NOT working! So the next step is to have a procedure called an Ablasion to the interior of the heart to stop the electrical signal causing the A-fib.

I am awaiting to hear from the cardio surgeon to find out with this will occur.

Thanks again everyone for caring! I will update this as I know more.

    Hey Dan,

Just want you to know that the procedure is fairly common with uncontrolled afib and PSVT. You will feel soooooo much better afterwards. Good luck with everything. PSVT is a form of Ventricular Tachycardia. Once again good luck.

Wishing you the best Dan. There is a Dr here in SW nOhio that is on some talk shows around Cincy for his procedure regarding AF. Here is his link...

Man, I wish you and your family the best during these times. I just had a bout with some severe pain myself and it ain't fun when the onset is fast.

Hope the Doc is good at what he does and makes the proceedure look like a cake walk. You'll be up and under full power in a short time I presume.
    God Bless ya!

I'm only having one "node" Ablased. My older brother just had his third Albasion and the Pacemaker was installed.

    Thanks for your concern!

Thanks Danny! That mighty tempting but my wife and kids wouldn't like it being so far away.
The Cardio surgeon that is doing it has done the procedure to both my younger brother and older brother, so I'm going to stay with the doc that know the family history!
