    Hello...

I was thinking of participating in the GSSF match in Indy on June 26-27. While looking at the registration form, something is not clear. If I were to shoot the match with a G17 and a G19 would the entry fee be $25 or $50? More importantly, is it possible to shoot two different guns in the same class? I went to the GSSF website, but could not find an answer to these questions....

    tnx.

Can shoot only once in any category per match. You may shoot up to 6 categories as an Amatuer class shooter. Each category that you shoot costs $25 entry fee.

The first category cost $35.00 unless you preregister. Either way all additional categories cost $25.00 to enter.

Are there many other local Indy people that plan on going? I'm thinking about it, as long as schedule allows.

I'll be there, and I'm even a local. As to your question, you can shoot both guns but would have to be different catagories. For example 17 in Am civ. and 19 in competition. (as long as both guns are stock). The catagories that you are eligible to shoot with those 2 guns are: Am-civ, competition, stockmeister, and unlimited. In stockmeister and unlimited you'll be shooting against masters, but if you wanna shoot multiple catagories these could be a good warm up. That's what I do just to break the first run jitters. That way on the catagories I have a chance to place in the prizes I don't blow it----as much.

I usually shoot 4 catagories. Am-civ G19., competition G34, Subcompact G27, and UL G17C with a red dot sight. I always shoot unlimited first to warm up.

If you go plan on about 250-350 spread over 3 days. But not really crowded. Sunday is usually the lightest and all the bugs worked out. I'll be there all 3 days, Fri & Sat I'll RO and shoot Sunday.

If you are refering to my post, no you didn't offend me. I just thought it was funny that most of the replies were non-locals especially with all the locals that frequent the GSSF forum. I'm kinda surprised I was this late myself.

Thanks,I appreciate your response. Looking forward to seeing your area and meet some new GSSF'ers. My son-in-law (DEJ/FL) and I are shooting 12 GSSF Matches this season. We added Las Vegas to our schedule last season and Indy this season.

Well...I believe the reason alot of regulars have not posted is due possibly to the new forum ...Indiana Glockers...we have discussed the upcoming match and a request for RO's was made. I personally hope to participate, I have preregistered but my priorities will be with my Granddaughter who will be at Rileys hospital; she was born with Down's Syndrome and has some complications. If things are going well I will be there with a smile on my face ;f

I'm late to the party, too! ;g

My lovely wife and I (also locals) will be there on Sunday, shooting with mcsd2598, along with a couple of the Ballistic Review Midwest crew who might be coming over from St. Louis. I am SO not ready for this match! ;P

    See you all then!
