After a recent range trip with my G37 I was cleaning it and I took the backplate off and removed the striker (firing pin).
Upon inspection I notice the the portion of the striker where it has cut outs to fit into the firing pin safety plunger has some wear to that area of the striker.
The wear looks like the machined edges of the striker where it contacts the firing pin plunger has a little bit of material shaved off.
The firing pin safety still work OK and the pistol functions properly.
Is the kind of wear to be expected?
Should I replace the striker along with the firing pin safety plunger?
BTW this pistol has about 250 rounds through it.
