I fought hard over the past few weeks, but unemployed I am. Ten years of service in perfect dedication. Farewell Admiral's Cove....I have gained much.

No....but I have money in the bank which will carry me for some time. My regret is that I care about the place and the people under my charge. I want to be there to make sure it all goes okay.

I just googled Admiral's Cove...good grief, I hope they paid good because I'd work at Burger King before being around those types again. I did a few jobs at a country club years ago and I couldn't stand the way those rich pricks talked about people.

Well things happen for a reason, just hard to see it in the midst of your current situation sometimes. I do hope something comes up soon.

Good...at least you got compensated well. Like I said above, I did a 2 day job at a place like that...I had a feeling they didn't treat you worth a damn.

It won't be easy, but I hope you find a new job with better pay that you enjoy more.

Sorry, to hear that you got can.
However, there is no compensation (at least to me) that can justify anyone to bully me around and or bad treatment.
Best of Luck to you in finding a new job asap. :2gun::flamingdrpep::beer::drink:

Good Luck to you, PB. Sounds like you planned well, but being laid off is never pleasant.

keep your head up. not sure what happened still, but if they canned you as another one put it, at least you would get unemployment for now until you find something better.

you have so much experience in that industry so perhaps a similar thing. do that place have a competitor? i would look there.

Sorry to hear about your job loss. Better things will come your way with such a good attitude. When I lost my job last July I thought about getting back into school but the fall semester had already started. I got my unemployment and started college again this semester. There is plenty of money for school for those who have been laid off. I am going to school full-time with no out of pocket. Plus I get an UE check while I am in school. Good luck to you.:wavey:

one was using a CI to buy painkillers and told her it would reduce some drug charge she had. The cop made up the whole story and was using the pills herself ..thats just cold ...

another ran from the FHP for like 30 miles at 100 mph for no reason other than he was late or something. In a unmarked police car at that...

Sorry to hear that PBC. I'm going on almost TWO YEARS of unemployment. I truly picked the wrong time to change gears and careers. I landed a quick contract job the end of '09, and although it paid poorly I miss it.
Keep your chin up, sharpen the resume daily, and good luck.
