Anyone build or buy one? I have a Chevy suburban and want to put some type of carrier under the second row so that I can secure a rifle(AR) there out of sight.

    Truck Vault.

Not cheap, and not second row. But looks pretty damn solid as far as long gun storage goes.

Truck vault is nice! Not what I was thinking though.

Bodyarmorguy, did you make that or buy it somewhere? Looks like exactly what I am looking for.

It's made by a company called Blac-Rac. Unfortunately right now they are only selling direct to law enforcement agencies. I got lucky and got one as I met the inventor as a result of some side work that I do in the industry.

We also just mounted these in the 7 new patrol cars that we just took delivery on.

Nice! What did you guys end up getting? We are due for an Impala and maybe a Tahoe.

I wonder if I could get my Sarg or Cheif to order one through the PD. Doubt it though.
