Hey guys, I saw on the news that Metro Manila took quite a beating due to the recent category 4 typhoon. Has power been restored to the metropolis yet? Are you fellows doing okay?

Widespread yata yung damage for the whole of south Luzon from Batangas-Bataan down to Camarines-Bicol. Daming down na trees, power post, transmission lines and billboards.

We felt the rain clouds of Milenyo last Tuesday here in northern Mindanao, but purely a whole day of rain (not just drizzle, but hard hitting rain).

Hopefully all BOGs are ok... Di lang makapag-post.

Our drive way was blocked by a big fallen tree. Electrical post also fell nearby. It was like a warzone here in Laguna Bel-Air 3, Sta Rosa. No power yet as of the moment,(using pldt weroam for internet).

power was out starting at around 8am so the 4 of us, my 2 nephews and my son, went to greenhills, where the shops were still open until around lunchtime. ang lakas ng hangin and a lot of debris was flying around already so we decided to head back home. parang hurricane Katrina siguro ang lakas ng hangin kahapon! hehehe

Alot of trees fell here sa Makati ended up blocking the roads. Got caught right in the middle of it while I was on the road around 1130am - 1pm. The wind was rocking my escape. lol Nakakatakot yung lumilipad na mga aluminum sheets galing sa mga construction area.

Bumagsak pa yung poste ni Meralco sa harap ng bahay namin. Bad trip. Wala kuryente at tubig sa amin in Makati.

I'm glad to know you guys are all right --albeit a bit shaken. We also had three short power outages yesterday in Pangasinan, but power stabilized before 5 in the afternoon. On the Tsikot forum one poster complained that the grocery he went to ran out of batteries. Buti na lang Boy Scout ako at laging handa. Ang kulang ko na lang ay genset.

Power out in Zambales-Bataan are for about 25 hours. Even SBMA, who has it's own power plant, blacked out for about 6 hours. Dagupan had minor rains but electricity was continuos.

That's funny because I use Globe and I was complaining that only Smart users had signal. Globe signal is still bad here in Muntinlupa/P'Que area. No news kung may kuryente na.

Here are photos during the storm and the aftermath in Alabang.

Pero wala pa ito dun sa nangyari sa Laguna, guys, kailangan nating tumulong, ang daming tinamaan ng malakas sa Laguna, Any relief goods would be welcome, just bring them to Kapuso Foundation or doon na mismo sa LGU's ng Laguna - Calamba City, Los Banos, etc.
