I frequently get email attachments (presumably images) that have filename extentions .txt. When I open them, it just shows a bunch of code...

What do I have to open these images up in to display as an image and not text??? :freak:

i wonder if some anti-spam or anti-virus software on your computer or your ISP's mail servers may be renaming the files.

you may want to try calling your ISP and asking if they have some spam-filtering software which renames attachments so that the files have .txt suffixes. you may be able to just rename them with ".jpg" endings and open as normal.

You don't notice the ".scr" until it's too late.
