I have a pair of GE MPS UHF radios. These are mid 90,s vintage and they are programable. Output power is rated at 4.0 watts and they most often put out more. The US military used many of these same radios in VHF band as I have had a few. They look the same except for a long thick antenna. Radios come with: Two like new batteries. They test at 99 percent on the analyzer that I have for MPS batteries. Two like new belt clips. These are made of Metal not plastic and will out last most of todays radios. One is new the one show is the used clip. Two 3 hour rapid chargers. Tested and working. Two public safety speaker mics. These have an antenna on the mic for better range and reception. An ear phone can be pluged into these mics for more privacy. They use Velcro on the back of the mic to mount to your rig. Two survailence mics. This is just like the Secret Service uses with the mic in the sleave and the flesh color wires. One is missing the rubber ear bud but it works OK without it. Now what this pair is programmed on: These are 12 channel radios and channel 1 thru 6 is FRS 1 thru 6, Channels 7 thru 12 are the GMRS 15 thru 20. Radio has a switch on top to turn Privacy on or off. When on they are set to 88.5 or code 8 on Motorola radios. Why use these instead of the little FRS radios? Power and distance. More realistic as these were used buy our military up through 2003. Price for the pair of radios plus the like new batteries, Speaker mics, Chargers, Belt clips, and the servailence mics is $150.00 plus shipping. or interesting trade, Try me I can only say no. How about offers?
