SIG P210-8 was a factory custom P210 variant by Léon Crottet, distinguished by a reprofiled heavy frame and a lateral button magazine release of his own preexisting design. In its manufacture, Crottet was responsible for milling all of the frames and some of the slides (i.e. those fitted with LPA sights). Thereafter, SIG completed the pistols by applying heat treatment and the surface finish, either salt bluing or two-tone chrome-plating reserved for 15 pistols exported and distributied by Hämmerli in Tiengen, Germany. A pair of identically numbered P210-8 pistols is known to exist. My company owns the one with the standard blued finish; the whereabouts of the two-tone pistol with the same P321087 serial number remain unknown. More information can be found in my article.Very sweet Michael, nice to see you post, now give us the background on such a gem.
