Where would we be now if electricity was discovered 200 years earlier?

What if foodborne bacteria died at 300 degrees instead of 145 to 165 degrees? All our meat would be burnt to crisp in order to be safe.

These are the things I think about when I drink.

Cats have lived with humans for 9500 years. Anyone who has petted a cat in winter has experience with electricity. I'd bet our ancestors knew about electricity.

We would just use irradiation on the meat to kill all the bad bacteria -

Some places sell things like strawberries that have been irradiated - they stay fresh for many days longer -

The process works for meat - but the expense and the people thinking it will give them cancer or something would throw a fit.

Deep-fried works for me. Around 350F.
Run a search for "pitchfork steak fondue".

    Or baked into a casserole/hotdish.

Those Minnesotans/North Dakotans got the right idea, dontcha know.
    You betcha!

You know...there was one night I found myself asking that very question. Thankfully, I started watching 2girls1cup and forgot about it.

A good Tater-tot Hotdish is suitable for Sunday dining in my household.
Mouth is watering just thinking about it.

    Darn good stuff!

    I have to google Chislic...
Edit: Done! That sounds/looks pretty dang tasty, too!

I imagine we would have built up resistance to the critters.

We would have a much larger population without electricity.....nothing else to do
And their immune system would be awesome to kill the bacteria.....or we would be vegetarian
