I have been planning this for a long, long time. It is long overdue. Since the onslaught of COVID-19, I've had this voice in my head nagging me to just do it. For context, we have a son in Texas, son-in-law and his son in Virginia who are firefighters/Emt. The SIL is also a Paramedic. Another son is a Deputy Sheriff in California. This or one similar is my daily chapeau. About the Memorial threads. The LODD information is from USFA, https://apps.usfa.fema.gov/firefighter-fatalities/fatalityData/list?deathYear=2020&offset=20&max=10. The other thread remembers those lost to suicide. My information there comes from the Firefighter Behavioral Health Alliance website, https://www.ffbha.org/ff-ems-suicide-deaths-by-year-type/. I am going to have to play catchup in the LODD thread as I am starting with #25. Please be patient.
