Two classic Smiths followed me home

    Two new to me Smiths followed me home from a gun show today. I ended up with a nickel plated 39-2 and a 622

    The 622 and its types are underrated shooters. I love my 422.

    The nickel 39-2 can bring some money. I sold one unfired in the box on GB a few years back. Brought a ridiculous sum of money.

    Nice! The first autos I bought when I turned 21 were a 3904 and a 422. I regret selling them to pay for textbooks.

    Nice guns,i had a 422 about 30 years ago. Iirc the 422/622 was disassembled using a fired .22 case.

    Pretty much. They came with a little plastic tab for that....which gets lost almost instantly, .22 brass can go in its place and allow you to remove the spring retainer
