Saw this recipe on "Ham On The Street" yesterday, made it tonight.

Its really really good and easy. I made a half batch and used espresso. Turned out great. Only tweek I'd make is to not beat the cream quite so long; it got a little stiff and was on the verge of tearing up the espresso soaked Twinkies.

Does the espresso soak in or just bead up? <wide grin>

it soaks into the twinkies.....you might want to cut back on the espresso volume a little...I used the full ammount and it saturated the twinkies... no yellow left at all....by the time I served it the twinkies had fully disinegrated. They were basically just expresso/cake/creme ooze inside the Marscapone cheese.
