Again, I must issue this disclaimer...
I am not racist...I hate everyone equally....
    stupid is as stupid does....

That being said, TV never fails to provide fodder to back up many, many arguments.

I was watching "TruTV" tonight. A show called "Hardcore Pawn". In four episodes (I watched it through dinner, dishes, and dessert...), I saw people come and go in the pawn shop selling and pawning, and buying....

There was a white guy selling an olympic torch he carried... no problems
A white couple pawned some problems
An old white guy pawned some gems and problems
A white woman sold her fur problems
A black girl's ring was mysteriously broken while in pawn...PROBLEM
A black girl tried to pawn a POS printer....PROBLEM
A black guy paid $750 for a fake rolex at the mall and they were selling the same watch for $300, and only wanted to buy his watch for $100.00

    You guessed it....PROBLEM

Really?? I certainly hope this is a localized example and maybe even coached by the show's producers.....

The girl with the printer...she said "I'm not leavin' here 'til I get $30.00 for this printer...." A new printer at Wal-Mart is only $39.00....

WOW, I can't believe I actually put this much thought into some bulls**t going on in Detroit.

Does anyone on GT know about the area where the pawnshop is? It is on 8 Mile, so I am thinking it is in the ghetto...which would explain a lot....

I am sure there is a "community organization" in the area that empowers the idiots to think they can get away with that bull****. One lady actually called the police....(pronounced POH leese) because they wouldn't give her what she was asking for an item she was trying to sell....911 actually hung up on her ***....

Now, I am no genius, I am not wealthy, and I am in no way perfect. Jesus was the only perfect man on this world. I am an average everyday taxpayer who votes, owns guns, helps my wife with the housework, and works every day I can whether it is 20 below or 110 in the shade.....

I am just sick and *******ing tired of what is happening to this country, and all of the GD finger pointing and blame gaming.....

And until we pull together to do something about it, the downward spiral shall continue.....

I am just as unique as my neighbors...individual in every way, but the ONE thing we have in common is WE ARE AMERICANS!!!!!
If something pisses me off, I will throw up a debate about it, but I am NOT going to infringe on the opposition's right to disagree with me.....

We just agree to disagree, and go on with life....

Americans used to care about the health and welfare of our nation, but now it seems that we are only interested in serving our own necessities and desires.....

    Whatever happened to....

"Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country" -JFK

And the golden has changed too....

Those who have the gold make the rules....

Do unto others before they do you under....

Alas, all we can do is press on and do what we can to preserve liberty.....

    Another $.02 worth....

Uh, I'm no psychiatrist, but maybe you should consider cancelling your pay TV.

Reality TV is make believe for folks who have some idle time and their brain cells need a rest. Live your own real life the best way you are able.
