I like a .22WMRF rifle or an iron sighted revolver. .38 Special with LSW loads works well.

Rem. 870 Super Mag 3 1/2" 28" barrel with 1.5 - 4.5 X 32mm BSA scope .665 Star Dot ported choke with 3 1/2" Federal High Velocity 2oz #5 shot. Holds a full pattern average 14 inch at 40 yards. I had to put the scope on it because it shot so tight at 15 to 25 yards it was like shooting a slug. I have to take some longer shots than most people because of hunting pressure in my area. Too many people fooling with and spooking them and they get wise real quick and don't want to come in too close.

Well If I ever get out Turkey hunting, I'll use either my 870 Express or my Mossy 500. Nothing special about either one of them.

I also use a Benelli M-1 with the Rhino .660 Choke and the Nitro ammo once in a while.

The ammo is the key. It is wicked stuff....guaranteed to punch his lights out.

Is this an anti-gun picture thread? Everybody has a turkey setup, but nobody has a camera! :dunno:

Here's a shot of my BPS. Kick's .660, Burris Fastfire...

WA Merriams and a Steve Mann custom Match Grade box..........tools of the trade.

Bout as early as I have ever killed one- still fairly dark at 5:15 AM. This bird and another Longbeard pitched off the limb and landed in gun range.

Remington 870 SuperMag with all camo furniture
    Bushnell Holosight
Forget the brand of choke, but it's designed for use with HeviShot
    #6 3.5" HeviShot

Rolled a bird with it this past fall with no problems.
