    1st wave hit about 11:27,water receded about 6 ft and surged back about 5 mins later,no damage reports yet

    2nd wave now surging into bay,not really waves just water in the harbor surging in and out.

    creepy for sure, strange things can happen in these events, lots of damage in a very small area and no damage everywhere else

    just went down to Kihei boat ramp for a 1/2 hour or so. not much going on, very small changes in sea level.

    As stated in the other thread, where I am at on Oahu, it looked like high tide/low tide going in very fast sucssesion......

    You really couldn't tell the difference when the waves were coming in for the high tide portion of it....

    Oh well......hopefully, stuff will start to open soon.....
