There is a gun show coming up where I live. I really want some Speer Gold Dot +P 124 gr. Are the prices going to be crazy and should I just order them online? What are some other good self defense rounds I should keep an eye out for at the show?

Why not just order some online?

I recently bought some 124gr+P from BlackHills @ Midway. It's a good performer, but some would say too old school. It makes 1220fps in my little G26, expands well & is accurate. What else does one need?

I really like Gold Dot bullets. If they're charging way more than $25 per 50 at the gun show, look for them elsewhere.

The only place where I could find Gold Dots (9mm, 124gr+p) was selling them for $49.99 for a 50 round box. I will be patient and use my Golden Sabers until they are available elsewhere.

Every site I go to has them back ordered. I just got into shooting and all I own is bulk Remington UMC FMJ 115 gr. I need them so I can start keeping my gun in my car for self defense. (Can't conceal carry yet because it's 23 in my state).

I can't even find that good of a price online. The only site I found on ammo engine that has them lists them at $21.40 per 20! I'd love to be able to find them at $0.50 a round but it looks like it just won't be happening.

Then let me suggest these until you can find the 50-round boxes of Gold Dot.

Or these if you simply MUST have Gold Dot ammo.
