Trying to Delete a Post

    You can't delete it.

    Just out of curiosity, why do you want to -- because the item(s) is sold?

    For future reference, you can CHANGE (edit) your own post to the word "deleted" or something similar. I don't know if this helps or not.

    The board software is set up in such a way that you can't delete a post. You can do what Catbird suggested, or PM or email the moderator for the forum where you posted, and he/she can delete the entire post for you.

    Yes, that seems like a good idea on the surface, but --

    What if you had a poster/troll making malicious comments with the sole purpose in stirring up a "hornets' nest" and getting other GT members angry and upset -- then, going back and deleting their post which started the whole process. This restriction, metaphorically speaking, prevents a criminal from successfully covering up his/her tracks. I'm sure there are other reasons, as well.

    IMO, this restriction is a good thing. ;)

    his explanation is on the money, and one of the prime reasons for not allowing each member to delete their entire post. :)
