Trump respects strength and determination. Nothing wrong with that.
Trump is far from being a "moral vacuum".

Don't get lost in the details of anything Trump says.
Focus on the message and you'll do just fine.

“And you’ve got to give him credit: How many young guys — he was like 26 or 25 when his father died — take over these tough generals and all of a sudden, you know, it’s pretty amazing when you think of it. How does he do that?”

Well, that's what murderous dictators do. Admiring that doesn't make people want you as a world leader unless they find murderous dictators attractive. Unfortunately, many do because they think their agenda is your agenda.

I've found The Hill to be rather misleading most times...........including this one.

    Well.....no.

I can't agree with Trump on this. Kim Jong Un started off with "godlike" powers over the entire country. His power was passed to him by his father. There is nothing remarkable about him at all. His subordinates either did as he said......or they and their family were tortured, and killed. With power like that, it can look like executive superiority, but it's not that at all......

His entire country is systematically starved. With the starvation, those who are promoted within the system, are grateful for their fortunate circumstances. Their gratefulness isn't for having such a wonderful leader......but, their luck.

KJU has no respect from his people, or his administration....what he has is authority that few ever have the will to oppose, or even dare to speak out against.

Trump is dead wrong on this one.........

You're missing the point of Trump's remark.

Kim Jong Un is a strong leader. Don't interpret that as him being a good leader.
It takes great strength to do what he has done. Even though his strength is misguided.

Hitler was an effective leader. He took Germany from being a beaten down and bankrupt country to being the most powerful military machine the world has ever known. That doesn't mean Hitler was right or that he was a good man.

I watched the clip of this exchange. I didn't take it that Trump liked KJU. He respected that he was able to actually bend the will of the top Generals to do as he wanted.... at his young age and w/o experience. Power transfer in a country such as NK isn't a guarantee. Backstabbing there isn't just a metaphor.

I'm not a Trump guy. However, I don't hold this one against him.

Little Kim has been outmaneuvering Little Barry for as long as little Kim has been in power.

Hitler wasn't all bad either. While he deserves to be reviled for all the grief he caused, he did expand the autobahn.

Barry isn't all bad either. I can't think of anything he has done that was classy or smart off the top of my head, but I'm sure he has done something right.

    (guys, little help please) :mememe:

*sigh* No Mr. Trump, I do NOT have to give a murderous tyrant "credit". Do you give "credit" to Hitler for doing something about his Jewish problem?

I'll vote for Hildabeast before I vote for this baboon.

Still no policy. Nothing but promising to rule by decree. Reason is, of course, he has no policy advisors to consult because anyone with any expertise won't touch him. Should he win, no one of substance will humiliate themselves by cowing to him every day so he will surround himself with wannabes and suck ups. And he can't fire Congress. Or the courts. Or the press. Or....

Lil Kim is no different from his grandfather and his father, except for the fancy education.
Not many 20-somethings inherit a bunch of conniving bloodthirsty experienced generals and uncles looking for a way to overthrow them.

Maybe some of you commies are fans of his former rivals instead??

I suspect some of you are too undereducated to have read Machiavelli's The Prince.
Maybe living in Mom's basement is different from inheriting a bloody dictatorship.

I'm sure he has improved his golf game, so he might be able to cheat less.

We never had any doubts about you.

Did you ever call Obama a monkey?:lv:

"Her" name is AB Stoddard, and she, along with Krauethammer and Steve, the usual panel on Brett's show, are simply horrified at the thought of Trump winning! They all are having a near nervous breakdown weekly. It is the show I look most forward to................. Special Report with Brett Bair. Just to watch the sheer suffering on those pundits faces.

So yes, even your run-of-the-mill conservative blogs and websites will be laying the funk on Trump as much as they can. He is just NOT playing the game properly!! (thank God!)
