Just said the country will be open by Easter, April 12 on the FOX virtual thing.

I actually thought it would be sooner.

I always thought his initial 15 days directive was optimistic; 30 days always seemed more realistic simply due to the dynamics of the disease and personal interactions in American society. In any case after 2 more weeks of this we should start seeing gradual declines in new cases daily. That's my prediction and I'm stickin' to it!

Well there will not be a perfect right or wrong on this, and I think it will be troublesome but I don't disagree that we are probably going to have to suck it up and get things moving again. We really need to save this country for our kids and grand kids, and it will kill lots of us older people I'm sure.

CDC says we have already had a massive decline.

Didn't he actually say he would "love to have it open by Easter" ?

Not the same thing as the OP.

We all would love it I think, doesn't mean it's real or smart or happening.

I thought he said he'd like to be back to work around Easter, and did not set a penciled in date.

Election is getting closer and he has to do something, whether right or wrong.I think DJT is more concerned about 2020 than the virus.

Well, if he doesn't get people back to work and things re-opened near that date... I don't believe a virus will still be the main problem. You can only throw so many trillions of dollars at something and expect it to get better on its own.

You do realize there is a difference between a mission within a war and a war, I would hope.

Well, the Democrats have left absolutely no doubt that the election is ALL they care about. Pretty clear if you could vote for more people to die and they thought it would get them votes, every Democrat in Congress would vote in favor.

Off-topic, but did you ever get the go-ahead to work from home, or are you still stuck in an office?

I guess the preppers will be disappointed the EOTWAWKI thing isn't happening.
As a friend of mine used to say "Off your ass and on your feet", he's talking about you, America.
