This weekend Fauci found yet another camera and got some time on 60 minutes. On there he criticized Trump for the Amy Coney Barret White House lawn gathering to announce her nomination.

"When I saw that on TV, I said, 'Oh my goodness. Nothing good can come out of that. That's got to be a problem. And then, sure enough, it turned out to be a superspreader event,”

This is the same guy that refused to answer if the riots/protests were a good idea during a pandemic. When asked the same about the Women's March in DC this weekend, he avoided the question. He was too big of a coward to tell people not to protest by the thousands, but just had to criticize Trump for White House gathering. Calling him an idiot was being too polite.

Here was his wife wearing a 'vote' shirt during the 60 Minutes segment. She unzipped her jacket in a shot so you could see it. Clearly making a political statement.

By late March early April I stopped listening to fauchi . Too many inconsistant statements.

Always hedging and never clear.

Shutdown for ever!

Nothing of value that helped protect my family.

I spoke with real doctors who were treating covid patients and got information of real value.

The cdc guy is no better.

I wonder which one Trump wants?

Today he is a “disaster” (or “idiot” per OP) but last week he puts him in his campaign ads.

Hmmm ... I wonder if Trump is just a (poorly fitting) suit filled with pure ego who says and does what makes him look and feel good at any given minute. Nah, it couldn’t be ...

My doctor is an infectious disease specialist and a Dr. Fraudci fan girl.

I just end up rolling my eyes.

My nurse friends told me for years:

Be your own advocate.

Get another opinion.

The covid crisis showed how true those words are.
Lol I talk to my nurse friend and my cousins the medical researchers.

The problem for Trump is that the high point of his handling of the virus crisis came on March 23rd, when he tweeted this:

WE CANNOT LET THE CURE BE WORSE THAN THE PROBLEM ITSELF. AT THE END OF THE 15 DAY PERIOD, WE WILL MAKE A DECISION AS TO WHICH WAY WE WANT TO GO!

From that point on, it was all downhill for him, as he proceeded to endorse cures that were far worse than the problem, and he didn't find his defiance again until it was far too late, when he then needed to overcompensate.

Fauci himself said he advises on one thing: public health. That's a small slice of the entirety necessary for an appropriate pandemic response that isn't worse than the problem. Trump needed input from economists, constitutional lawyers, business leaders, and many many other fields. Instead he put Fauci front and center as the lead, in spite of his own stated narrow field of expertise. That isn't Fauci's fault.

Throwing Fauci under the bus now won't help Trump. It just reinforces the obvious: he didn't step up himself, he left it to somebody else he's now trying to shoulder with the blame. Those aren't the actions of a strong leader.

So you believe the MSM would have praised Trump if this was handled differently?

Trump still hasn't fired him. Just like he still hasn't declared Antifa a terrorist org. And yes, that White House event did spread the VID, so Fauci is right.

Just like that rally killed Herman Cain.
