Not to my way of thinking. If I could avoid a loss of over 45K I would want to do it.
    From Wiki
"According to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Stewart avoided a loss of $45,673 by selling all 3,928 shares of her ImClone Systems stock on December 27, 2001, after receiving material, nonpublic information from Peter Bacanovic, who was Stewart's broker at Merrill Lynch. The day following her sale, the stock value fell 16%."

$45k or $800K, integrity doesn't have dollar amount limit to it. The both screwed up, I just don't think what he did deserves 14 years in prison.

Just to be clear I think Blagojevich is a scumbag and I'm not sure commuting his sentence was smart politics. On the other hand he served eight years and releasing him is not IMO going to put anyone at risk. The guy is 63 and his political career is over. Keeping him in prison for the next six years would cost about $220,000 and serve no purpose. Isn't there something better we could do with that money?

You're aware he tried to sell a seat in the US Senate, right?

Facts matter and a quick scan on some of these replies confirms it.

I'm sure if a democratic president commuted blago's sentence, the response would be as calm and measured as we have seen in this thread...

It was convenient how you left it out.

Shortcomings in a murder sentencing have no bearing on this case.

So which is it....you think Trump can do no wrong or Rod is to your liking? Because if you're picking this hill to die on just because some murder cases don't get 14 years....well...I don't believe it.

Decent move, he’s right about other politicians being guilty. I say keep releasing the turds and pardoning until the DOJ starts going after folks that are true criminals...

    I voted for Trump.

The HRC and Obama deflections are getting old. Time for a new deflection for some of President Trump’s undefendable moves.
