    law of supply and demand.

    big bucks for manufacturers!
    higher domestic profits, jobs.
all in all, should be good for business, the economy.

“Weakened Congressional oversight of international small arms and munitions sales is extremely hazardous to global security,” said Senator Ben Cardin of Maryland, a Democrat who serves on the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations,

I wonder if Mr. Cardin was worried when Obama was selling them weapons and Hillary was selling them uranium?

Well, at least there is chance that the Russians will be sending the uranium back to us (on their new hyper sonic missiles).

    :agree:

Yes, I can remember going to a gunshow, getting 2000rds of steel core for $150, go to the range with friends and shooting every single round in just a few hours......

    Good times!!!

I can remember paying $75ish for 1000 rounds and they'd throw in a free SKS. When the ammo ran dry we'd toss the rifle in the swamp and go get another.

You don't think what Trump is doing is selfless and impressive? It looks like he's putting the nation first and that it's going to pay off. I think that's big of him. Faction #2 taking an idea from Faction #1 and saying "Dah well, I don't care who thought it up. Money."

I think that's boss and professional. I honestly do. Instead of trying the "I will destroy Obamas legacy even if it hurts us" dumb stuff to keep the simpletons clapping, he looked at Obamas plan to move munitions export from the State Dept and put it under Commerce with less restrictions and oversight and has decided to move forward with it. According to everybody here it seems to be a good thing.
Great chance of it going forward especially if he leaves Obamas name on it as well. That should make it more difficult for the other faction to oppose it.

******or are you upset that I mentioned Obamas name? Are you one of those people that would rather gun-owners or even the whole country suffered before you admitted any of Obamas ideas were good? I'm not bagging on you. There are a large number of you here. It'd just help me understand how delicately I need to treat you.

The vast majority of Obama's ideas certainly were not good. If so he wouldn't be America's worst post war President. His entire political career has been one continuous failure. That's why real Americas control the House, the Senate, all of Congress, the majority of Governorships, the vast majority of state legislators, the majority of state trifectas, the Supreme Court as well as the Oval Office.

So, yes or no. Do you support Obamas Export Initiative that Trump is trying to breath life back into?

So yes or no? Every body's favorite antisemitic racist Obama and his entire administration failed miserably.

Typical of Obama he cucked out and failed at this as well. It took a real American like President Trump to turn that antisemitic racist idiot Obama's failed idea into a working solution. That terrorist Obama had a lot of ideas. Most bad. The rest failed because he lacks the intelligence to implement any sort of viable solution to any problem.

    From the article:

"...Colby Goodman, who examines American weapons exports as director of the Security Assistance Monitor program at the Center for International Policy in Washington. “The world of firearms exports is full of questionable, dubious characters.” …". (emphasis mine)

    So, it's just like Congress.
