There is a campground at the end of the lake, and just across the road from the campground is a golf course where the 2nd and 9th greens are close to the road. The road is a fairly busy 2 lane that gets a lot of truck traffic from Canada and logging operations. Seems that a lot of truckers take joy in hitting the jake brake as they roll past to tweak up the campers and golfers. The sound travels down the lake and when I'm sleeping with the windows open, is wicked annoying to say the least. During the day, I hardly notice it. The state put up a sign like "PLEASE NO JAKE BRAKE" but seems this just made things worse as there is no law against it. Any truckers out there who will admit to using the device just for fun??
