Wow, I picked up a pair of night sights on sale at a LGS last week, they are tritium Tru Glo's, I just installed them on a G27, the picture doesn't do them justice but they are bright green, I gotta tell ya even though they are not the tritium/fiber optic TRO/X model these are very bright and easy to acquire day or night.

What night sights are you running on your sub-compact Glock?

Currently I'm using standard Meprolights, but they are getting near the end of their lifespan, so I might have to take a look at the ones you have for replacements. Most of the fiber-optic-style sights I've seen have drawbacks that I consider obvious (easily-damaged tubes, etc.), but those look like they'd be a bit more durable.

Question: If you take a "standard" ignore-the-dots sight picture (edge of the top of the front sight level with the edge of the top of the rear sight), are the dots lined up at the same time, or is the front sight dot higher or lower than the rear dots? I'd really like to find a sight set that allows both the sight edges and the dots to align properly at the same time, but so far I haven't found any that do so.

Huh, never noticed that but yep the front of the top sight is a **** hair lower when the three dots are aligned.
Oh man, now I have to have a mental battle with myself, I am a bit of a perfectionist... ;-/
    Good call!

Glad to know I'm not the only one that is bugged by this "problem" (but sorry I added you to the list of people bothered by it!).

I've also noticed that it seems to change a tiny bit when the pistol is held closer or farther away (eye closer to the sights, or farther away). For a while, I thought maybe I was holding the pistol at the "wrong" distance from my eyes, but this didn't hold up when I watched other folk shoot (I'm not that much different than many others, and exactly the same as some).

At the distances we'd normally use a pistol for defense (especially using the dots in low light) it wouldn't make much of a difference, but it does bug me a bit, as a "fix" doesn't seem to be an insurmountable engineering problem.

Well, with the dots aligned I punch a pretty tight little group at 10 yds so... and it is a line the dots up kind of thing, which probably is why I never noticed it.
It'll bug me a little for a while, but no doubt it'll work as advertised if called into action. ;-)

No, they are tritium, no fiber optic component. But they are very bright, even during the day.

I do have TFO's on a 21 and this 19 tho and really like them, thats why I grabbed the above for the 27 less FO:

Sorry I caused the confusion; I did think they were fiber-optic based on a quick glance at your top photo (I thought I could see grooves cut into the top of the sight). My bad.

Hey I checked out my other sets of sights on 3 other Glocks and looks like I am 2 for 2 on the alignment scale... haha.

I have never tried them, seems like everyone really digs them, might have to give a set a whirl.

Tru Glo night sights on all my carry and competition stuff. That way I have the same sight picture when it counts the most.

On my 26, I just run Glock steel sights. Rear is blacked out, front dot is neon orange. For me these are great. On the 27, it came with what I believe are Trijicons. Not a huge fan, tiny dots on the rear and yellow ring on the front. When the time comes, and that may be soon, I'll go with a set of "I" dots. The guns I had in the past that were equipped with those just seemed to be more accurate with little effort. If or when I change, those will go on both guns so there's no difference from gun to gun.
