Ordered it at the first of this year and it came in yesterday. This thing is very nice and tight as a drum compared to my Loaded and Colt Combat Elite. It requires a wrench to turn the bushing. The checkering on the front strap is pretty aggressive but I like it.

As soon as I took it out of the box I made some changes:
    -S&A Magwell
    -Wilson Combat FLGR
-Fit a Wilson Combat Bulletproof Thumb Safety
-VZ Operator II grips in Black/sand

I then gutted the ILS magwell that came on the TRP, put regular Wilson parts in it, and put it on my Loaded

Hopefully I can get out and shoot it and my new Colt this weekend.

Congrads! Got mine a Couple of weeks ago... Shoots like a Dream not a FTF or problem in the first 250 rounds!

Had to change the grips though... Stock Grips with that 20dpi checkering feels like your wrapping your hands around a Cheese Grater!!!

I switched to the Kimber Black Soft Rubber Grips, and it's much better!

    Good Luck!!!

The Operator II grips that I put on it are actually more aggressive than the stock Davidsons.

I finally got to shoot the TRP this weekend. It is the best shooting 1911 I have ever shot. I shot a 2" group at 25yds with an ammo can for a rest. I'm sure I could do better off my bags. Then I finished off the day by shooting a prairie dog with it.
