The main thrust of the book is her involvement in Scientology.
    What a weird "religion".
From her descriptions, you have to scratch your head and wonder how people believe or get mixed up in this.

It's a cult, and it appeals to the weak minded.

But it's main emphasis is on money. They work by coercion.

Leah has been fighting the good fight against them and getting hits for it.

I have begun to believe you are simple-minded. I thought for a while that you were faking it, but I am increasingly certain you are truly impaired. Carry on.

KOQ was a very funny sit com. In her book she recounts some of the story of the show, but its a very limited part of the book.
Leah was raised in Scientology. As a child indoctrinated in this, its not hard to understand why people would get caught up in it.
But as an adult introduced to it-------hard to understand.

Yes Sir, I too am amazed about how people get hooked into a "Religion" based upon pure science fiction and mysticism(and upon reflection, that could be several other "Religions", as well!). It is common knowledge that L. Ron Hubbard came up with Scientology as an answer to a bet that he could not successfully invent a "Religion" that people would believe and follow. Looks like he won his bet in spades. Talk about weak willed people...."Bread and Circuses, Bread and Circuses"
I laugh at them out loud. Miscavige is a full blown, crazy, megalomaniac. Period.
    Sad and tragic.

Leah lost millions of dollars to the Church of Scientology. She has family still connected and of course many friends. According to church teachings, since she has left the church she must be shunned by those friends and family members. Her immediate family has stayed by her side.

I don't think this is unique to Scientology.
