Trip to the store....

    Went to the Gun store yesterday to pick up some supplies. A few boxes of 1k cci small pistol primers, $39. Picked up the last container of power pistol for $26.

    The had a limit on powder, one per customer. It's really hard to get......

    Sounds like primers are a little high in your area.

    I'm lucky, we have a decent amount of powder around, not always what you're looking for.

    Unfortunately this is the story that is been played out for most of the Country. It just re-enforces the point of keep your eye open and buy what you can... when you can.

    Things are just starting to come back now-a-days up here, but still nothing to write home about. Primers seem to be in ample supply, bullets kinda, and powder more than this time just 2-3 months ago.

    I was in a store last week, just looking while waiting for the truck to get finished. I looked & talked a bit, all I found that interested me was 2 boxes of Hornady 17 HMR ammo at an O.K. price.

    I've been enjoying the Shilen 17 HMR barrel on my 77/22 Mag. I add a bit of ammo when I see it priced right. He had some 22 ammo, but seemed to be higher priced 'defensive' ammo.

    I lucked up got 400 rounds of 223 yesterday for $80...20 boxes @$4 each...local seller on Texas Gun Trader...I try to keep an eye on the site for stuff in the Fort Worth-Dallas area.
