I recently acquired a G34 and purchased a Lone Wolf Dist. 4-Ported Barrel. I also installed the Trijicon HD Night Sights (Yellow) but after shooting a few rounds the carbon coming from the ports after firing a single magazine completely cover the HD Sight (10 Shots here in Cali). I find myself having to repeatedly clean it after every magazine. Does anyone have any suggestions, ideas, and/or solutions? Anything would be greatly appreciated.

Not being a wise ass, but get a non ported barrel.

If you have to run ports for whatever reason......then run an over length threaded barrel and screw on a compensator.

It'll vent everything past the front sight.

You can go to Lone Wolf, they have long barrels that protrude past the end of the slide and are ported. Their 6 inch barrel will work on a full size weapon, if that is what you are shooting.

Thank you Wil! (I was just thinking the same thing ); I'm still using the barrel Glock put on my G-34 when they made it........(works great! )
