anybody who has experience with (glock) after market trigger lightening CONNECTOR replacement? how effective is it? according to the saleslady, it can reduce the trigger pull to 3.5 lbs. how true is this? it cost 1k & i'm really interested in buying it but i'd like to get some feedback first.;Q

    thanks.

where are you buying it from? final option? yup, it does lighten the trigger pull. make sure there is a "-" symbol on the "Y" end of the connector

yeah, its from final option and has the "-". she also told me that it would work perfectly well with the new york trigger spring but its not available yet. any idea where can i get that spring aside from final opt?;Q

    thanks.

my unsolicited advice: ditch the ny trigger spring, according to homogenizer and ppts799, it would give you the feeling of firing a revolver;P

homogenizer tried it in IPSC competition, he missed a lot.

You might have bought the lightened connector already but you should have tried first with other BOGS. After putting the 3.5 trigger on my G19, I got an AD in one of my comps. Perhaps its not for me.

    What's with the "-" thing?

That's the negative sign etched on the 3.5 connector to differentiate it from the standard 5.5 (unmarked) and the 8.0 (+) connector.

My setup for G30 would be the 3.5 connector with the New York olive trigger giving a trigger pull of around 5.5lbs. It forces me to hold the gun harder, which I think is a good attribute to a carry gun. It also provides additional hedge against unintentional discharge.

use it for my 19, love it. test fired a 21 (for sale) last week with a 3.5 and feels great to me. but decided to go for a 30, which will bring me to get another 3.5.
yup, 1k from final option, got mine from them.

Fellow BOGs, I have not tried a Glock that had lightened triggers, how does it compare to a 1911 with a 4 lbs crisp trigger?

Malayo pa rin trigger ng 1911 sa glock. Mahaba kasi trigger pull and reset ng glock.
