Today I received Gen.4 trigger housings with the updated ejector.

I want to replace my Gen3 19's ejector (336) with the updated one.

Can I just replace the complete Gen 3 housing with the Gen4 or do I just replace the ejector?

In other words---will the Gen4 trigger housing fit a Gen. 3 pistol?

    Thanks
    Ken

Gen 4 and Gen 3 Trigger Mechanism Housings are not the same.

That's right--the trigger housing for Gen3/Gen4 are not the same.

You can, however, pull the 30274 ejector out of the Gen4 trigger housing with a pair of pliers...

You have to pull the Gen3 trigger housing out of the frame, pull the old ejector out of the Gen3 trigger housing and do the same with the Gen4 trigger housing, then insert the new ejector into the Gen3 trigger housing so you can use it in your Gen3 gun.

    Here's a thread about it:

While this is a relatively easy task, take care to NOT damage either ejector in the process. The new 30274 ejector may not work, or solve the problem, and you may have to put the original one back in.
All of the above should be common sense, however.....:whistling:

Just changed the ejector out on my 19. Replaced the 336 with the 30274.

While I was at it,I did a 25c polish job on a 17 smooth trigger bar and installed it

    Range try out tomorrow
