I was poking around the gun safe this morning, when I encountered a piece of family history...the Nazi German Browning High Power Pistol my Grandpa brought back from WWII. He served as a mess Sgt. with the Army's 8th Airforce in France and later Belgium. After getting back to the states, he promptly had the gun nickled. Since he passed away when I was very young, I never really had a chance to meet him, so this is the only thing I have to remember him by. Just thought I'd take a nice pic of it and post it to share.

My father was did not see combat in WW2, and never had a trophy.
