Both their app and website show a freeze status of unknown.
I called and that was a waste of time and a test of my patience.

Nobody can speak English well enough to understand them and 2 of them didnt even know what a credit freeze was.

Anyway, is anyone else unable to view their freeze status?

With all the free sites out there I don't know why you'd pay for any of it to begin with.

The bureaus will freeze the bureaus for 2 reasons.
  1. The consumer has asked them to do it.
  2. Something has flagged as potential fraud.
Calling them is the only way to unfreeze your bureau if you don't have the PIN or if they did it.

No one at the Indian call center knew what a credit freeze was? That's surprising. :faint:

I called them again and was told there is an error code of '219' and will have to speak with the American blah blah blah tomorrow.

The transunion website only goes up to code 216 that I can tell and everytime I click on a link it says webpage unavailable.

These non English speaking people how did you get that number and what number did you call?

From the app and the TU website.

Looking at Google complaints of TU this seems very common for them

Either that or I've been played.
