Took Wife to range for third time and still have issues with 42 & limp wrist (hers).
Ordered the new Colt Corba and should be in this month.
No need in worrying about it. She shoots the 19's with no problems.

Colt hasn't made a really nice DA revolver outside the Python since the 1960's, so we'll see how this new model is.

Beretta Cheetah is a 13+1 (?) 380 on a slightly larger, heavier frame.

I'm trying to find an excuse to need one...

I also couldn't shoot the 42, so I sold it. Just too light for me. Stuck with the Sig P230SL and the other milsurps I have.

For my 380 .. I use the Taurus TCP. Great little pistol ...
I shot a 42 at the range once .. I really liked it . But I had the TCP
I like the Beretta Cheetah , great pistol .. its on my " id like to have list "

She needs a Desert Eagle in .50AE, and a big purse.

How about a 44 magnum with 1 7/8 inch barrel in scandium ?? Should carry well and no worries of limp wristing .

Has she tried a Kimber Micro 9? Hope she gets what feels good for her to shoot?

Sometimes it does not fit your hand, sometimes how you think.

Think of it this way a slightly used G-42 will find a new home, and everyone's happy. We have two in our house a his and hers.

Both my wife and I prefer the Glock 43 over the 42. She has tiny hands and the 43 works better than the 42 did. I carry a Kahr P380 daily, that is what a pocket .380 should be. The Glock 42 always struck me as way too big for the caliber.

I was really concerned about the limp wristing sensitivity of our 42 when I first got it. But after a few hundred rounds, now it runs really well and isn't sensitive at all.

Just in time for my wife to decide now she really wants my gun. :crying:

This is what happened to the 26. And the 34. I guess there are worse things than having a wife who likes guns. :dunno:

Apples to oranges, the 43 is too big to pocket carry, IMHO, and weighs 29% more than the 42 loaded.

I've had no luck with Kahr, to each his own.

My experience has been the same. Owned a few PM9's and had reliability issues with every one of them...I'll never own another Kahr.

Whereas all four of our 42's have been 100% flawless with several thousand combined rounds. Been pocket carrying one every day since October 2015.

It's always a good idea to sell off a Glock 42...
