It's my personal favorite. I own a G22 & G27, both 3rd gen... Congrats on your new one!!

As long as you like it, that's all that matters.

Gen 3 G22 is a great pistol, I just bought another police trade in the other day to keep the Gen 2 company.

How do you like the size of the 22 campared to the 19? I had a 22 and couldn't wait to trade it for a 23. The compacts and subs are the way to go.

I don't shoot the sub compacts well, could live well with the compacts though. I just prefer the full sized ,find I can conceal it well so why not. That's why the make Chevys and Fords,Escorts and Crown Vics, everybody can have what they want. SJ 40

I prefer the G19, but to each his own.

    Congrats on the G22.

    Good pick-up! The G22 .40 hits way harder than a G19 9mm.

My department issues GL 22. I also have a personal GL 22. But, during the hotter months here in Alabama I carry off duty a 2nd Gen Glock 19 with 115 +P+ Fed BPLE.

I just put a Storm Lake G27 40-9mm conversion barrel in my G27.
Ran 200 rounds of GDHP 124 +P flawlessly.
Have a second Storm Lake on special order in 357.

One gun, three calibers, Glocks Rule!

You made a wise decision and now have a bigger caliber that almost mirrors the 45acp with hi capacity. The G22 is very popular with police, F.B.I. and U.S. Marshall's and countless other departments. Don't let any of the 9mm cheerleaders tell you different:wavey:
