Im selling my FN 5.7 pistol and considering an offer for a RRA Varmint

I have 400 rounds, reloading dies and 1500 rounds of brass with my gun (that Im thinking I would want to hold back for this trade)

    What do you guys think
    <-----not an AR guy!!

I wouldn't trade it. That is a nice FN 5.7 setup.

Pricewise I think it's pretty fair. Thr RRA varmint isn't a cheap gun. If you want a varmint AR I would do the trade. You may be able to get a little cash with the deal for the ammo and brass if he is really interested.

that rra varmint is a decent setup,

but i wouldnt put the value much over 750 ..

and with the market the way it is now,

it would have to have a couple things thrown in too..

I had an RRA LAR-8 Varmint, until I decided to go suppressed bolt action.

That RRA is a wicked fun rifle, very accurate, but it is a tad heavy.

No sir, I don't think I would make that trade.

It's not a bad trade I guess, but I would keep the FN.

I would make the trade. I would love to get a scope/bipod and have a real accurate AR over the pistol.

and it is sweet, but god is it heavy, a tight sling is a must , but the handguards are free floated. It has a very nice trigger for a factory gun too, better than my Colt H-Bar match. Very Accurate too. That adjustable stock looks expensive and useful. I have mixed emotions about the 5.7 round. The muzzle energy just isn't that much, but one has to take in consideration the velocity, and the capacity. I think they really are effective with the restricted ammo, I think a V-Max would disintegrate rather quickly, especially with heavy clothing or an obstacle. If i were you I think I would go for the trade, though the gun grabbers hate that little 5.7 probably as much as the evil black rifle. :wow:

ended up trading the FN pistol mags and ammo (minus the reloading setup) for a stunning Springfield M1 AND $100 bill. Not bad I think.

    I don't care for the 5.7.
I don't care for THAT AR setup.
If the friend like your 5.7, get cash and then go buy a different AR setup.
