I have an out of state offer on a gun I have for trade. I wanted to do a FTF but it seems due to distance that we will not be able to. He wants to go FFL to FFL. What do I need to know about trading? He lives in Georgia and I live in Florida if that matters. Thanks for the info. Mike

You both need to find an FFL. Pay FFL and get his address, send the addresses to each other, ship guns to each others FFL's.

I think that's how it's done. I've never traded through FFL, but I've bought plenty through them.

If it is a handgun, you have no choice but to go FFL to FFL when dealing out of state. Google FFL transfer and your town and you will probably find someone good nearby

The only time you can do out of state ftf is if he drives to your ffl and that way you can look it over and then drive to his ffl. I did it with someone in MA and I'm from CT I just met him in MA handed the gun to his ffl and he did the paper work and then we crossed the border and did the same thing

FFL's will not ship out of Jacksonville any other ways to do it?
You can ship to the other guy's FFL via FedEx or UPS, if he'll accept the shipment from a non-FFL.

Or, just find another FFL.
