2.1million views.. not bad. That was very cool.

Trace Adkins is a class act, always has been. I remember watching an interview w/ him, and he was talking about his song "Arlington"(real tear jerker), and he was saying that if the crowd was to amped up, that he wouldn't sing that song, because of how seriously he took it and the message it delivered.

One of his more recent music videos included some footage of soldiers from the 101st down at Fort Campbell. It appeared they were returning home from deployment, and meeting their families. In the vid, I noticed at least one C-130 was from the 123rd here in Louisville. It's neat seeing stuff like that on TV.

For those who didn't know, Adkins was a rowdy sort before finding God. He's been shot by his 2nd wife, locked up for DUI, and involved in a few bar fights along the way. He's obviously calmed down quite a bit, and (like the majority of country music singers) is a patriotic type - Dixie Chicks excluded (and you see where their career went).

Good on him. Anything that a celebrity does to help our soldiers is welcomed. They deserve all that, and more, for keeping our country safe.
