I was going to replace the target trigger on my G26 with a smooth trigger from a G17 from Top Glock. They also offer a service to polish the trigger bar up for $10 to smooth out the rough spots. Is it a worthwhile thing to do? I don't have any polishing tools to do that kind of work on my Glock. What do you recommend? Is it a waste of my $$?

You can do a complete trigger job yourself in less than 40 minutes for WAY CHEAPER than what it's going to cost to send the gun to a dealer.

Go to http://www.glock-1.com and download their Glock assembly/disassembly instructions.

    You'll need:

Glock armorer's tool or 3/32" straight punch
"Micro Mesh" polishing cloths ($15 at hobby shop)

    OR...

Dremel tool with some white felt polishing cones and Flitz polish.

All you have to do is polish the areas on the trigger bar and the connector where they come in contact with each other. Also polish the raised area on trigger bar where it contacts the striker safety (that's the silver "button" on inside of the slide.

It's unbelievably simple. If I can do it...YOU can do it.
