Both the NRA and this guy are crazy.

We shouldn't even have carry permits.....

....I guess I take the 2nd amendment too literally though.

I wonder how many of the "The NRA doesn't do anything to do with gun laws" types are going to post in here.

Can I be the first? :tongueout:

    Wait, let me rephrase that.

NRA doesn't do ENOUGH with advancing the 2nd amendment back to its intended state.

Wait....the legislators need to get permission from the NRA? Are they part of the House, or the Senate in WI? I thought bills had to be sponsored by the people that actually work in the state Congress, not just any group of people who happen to believe in (insert random belief here). Shouldn't he be more disgusted that the politicians are so deep in the pockets of a(ny) 'lobbyist group', than that the politicians agree that a misdemeanor shouldn't be a disqualifier for gun ownership/carry?

cause all the career criminals require a permit to carry their guns? Damn the cop types must get beaten in the head with blunt objects before they're allowed to say anything. That's the only way to explain this level of idiocy.

So they can't measure a "spike in crime" without releasing data about individual CCWers? The chief strikes me as a liar.

I don't think anyone believes that. But I get at least one e-mail from them every few days about non-repubs trying to take away our rights. Some I just roll my eyes.

    I have an idea!

If no gun signs help prevent crimes, why don't we just put up "no crimes" signs. The criminals will obviously read the signs and leave the "crime free" zone alone. They will find a crime allowed zone to commit crimes in.

Worth a shot - let's start in Detroit and see how it works.

Or we could put them on the US Capitol building but that would shut the whole thing down.

Many Chiefs owe their job to some politician. If that is he case the Chief had better be a good puppet and do what the politician/s wants or they never get hired or their contract is not renewed.

Let's just put up "No Crime" signs all over the country. Then there will be no crime, no criminals, no need for prisons, and we can lay off all the poli............nevermind.
