Diet and exercise. Not easy but can be addictive. I lost 35 lbs last year (down to 168!). and I feel great so keep it up.
    Good luck.

Good luck man. It's easy after the first month.

A few years ago I was up to 310. I'm also 6'2". I worked my ass off literaly. Got down to 180 muscular pounds.

Then my life fell apart and im back up to 280 and so depressed. I've been making an effort to start working back down this year. But I was single the first time with plenty of free time.
Now I'm married with a baby and my wife SUCKS at suporting me. Orders more than she could eat for 3 meals so I eat it so it doesn't get wasted. Comes home with snacks and junk. Pressures me to eat so she doen't have to eat alone. I think she's trying to kill me. Or keep me fat so I can't cheat. :whistling:

Good for you and your awsome wife! Wanna trade?

Anyway, here's a good trick I did when I was losing like a pro...
If you're doing something and have a few seconds... do some push ups. Watching tv and a commercial comes on..knock out a quick 20.
On your way out of the house...knock out a quick 20.
It keeps your body burning and working all the time instead of just training it to do your set workout time and be done.
And your arms will thank you. Well, not at first but in the long run...

Yeah, I hear ya. Fortunately I have never had a 'weight problem' but I do have conversations like this with my wife:

    Her: Want some ice cream?
    Me: No.
    Her: Why?
Me: Cuz. If you want some, have some.
Her: Why must you be so disciplined?
    Me: LOL

well im down 12 lbs. but i feel a lot better.

im going to assume since im doing weights and cardio that im not going to drop wight too fast as the weight im losing in fat im putting back in muscle mass.

im still only going 30 min(plus walkdown time) on the treadmill. my poor dogs cant take much more. i seem to get about a mile and a half or so depending on my speed. i try to keep it at 3mph but sometimes my feet argue lol

    anyway just a small update.

i might add ive also cut out soda, but have not changed my eating habits as of yet.
