I have hunted this monster buck for 14 days in November. During bow he came in 4 times at close range but never leaving the thick brush, each time stopping just short of my shooting lane, then back tracking around the lane! During gun season on my last day out I finally spotted him again and he gave me a few seconds for a clear shot. He scored 154 and according to WI Buck and Bear club records is the biggest buck taken in my county since 2016. The neighbor and I passed him up last year to let him grow. It paid off.

He is a trophy buck . I commend you and your neighbor for your patience . That is how you grow big bucks and you did a good job hunting him .

Nice...don't even need a dollar bill in the photo to see that's a big one.

I used my S&W M&P-10. It's been a great rifle for me and has taken several trophy bucks like this one in the last 5 years. It's an accurate rifle too.

what you may not know is that Pilot172 is 6'-10", 460 lbs, making Hafthor "the mountain" look like a tike.

    Nice trophy, Pilot172!

First of all permit me to congratulate you on your magnificent buck.

From what I was told by a local here who scores racks mine below was about 130. Yours is obviously much larger, has more inches, etc. I know little to nothing on how to score these but it would appear to me that either some use different criteria when scoring , yours is more than 154 or mine less than 130. Very nice buck. Yours looks to me to be about 120. The measurements are width, length of each beam, length of each point, and the first 4 circumferences between points.

Wow, most hunters go their whole lives without seeing a buck like that, much less killing it.
