I like the pictures. I took some pictures last weekend on one of my flights... I'll post them when I get the pictures developed, eventually. :)

I've seen offices with a much worse view. You should count yourself blessed.

I do. :) I love going to work (I can't believe they pay me for it).

It was a bumpy road getting here, but it's worth it in the end.

Nice pics!! I got a ship load, I should post some in here.

Pardon me if this has been discussed already....

    Where are you based?

    Do you fly single pilot?

How do you like the 421?

What does it have for avionics?

I'm based in Corpus Christi Texas.

We fly our missions single pilot. I can't see what you would need another pilot for. I've never flown in a multi-crew environment, so I guess that's why I say that.

The 421 is a different bird to fly. It feels like you're flying a truck, the controls are very heavy compared to everything else I've flown. Our company does our initial/re-current training in a 414 and it feels totally different than the 421. The 414 feels more like a light twin (like a Baron or Seneca). Another quirky thing is the power management. While setting up for an approach, you have to use drag to manage your speed instead of power. The turbos are very sensitive to shock cooling, so we're very strict on stage cooling during the approach to landing phase. The great thing about the aircraft is the trailing link landing gear. It makes even the hardest landing feel smooth. And the plane is very easy to land on top of that.

The avionics suck. We still have the original equipment from the factory. It's equipped with dual slaved HSI/RMI and co-pilot's six-pack which is nice. Here's a pic of a typical 421 panel.

Nice pics SaabFlyer. Is there anything unique going on in those shots, or were they taken for artistic value only?

    Nice pictures.

    Good job Medpilot 2.^c

I used to tell them, when I was down there, there's only two things that I do that's important.
Getting someone in when they are hurt,
or getting them in when they have a family emergency.

I commend you on a great job. I know all too well how much life flights can try to help and very often do make a life saving change.

Keep up the great job and I liked the pictures a lot too.

I would love to do the same kind of job.
