I sold one of my guns to a complete stranger without even asking his name. Here's the gun, thanks for the cash. Have a great weekend, stranger!

Take that, Paul Helmke and the rest of you wacko Bradys!

Hell of a nice show, actually. Every gun I could imagine was there, except the one I'm looking for (as usual).

They had a cool WWII Jeep on display along with a mortar and some machine gun positions. A British tank of some sort, too.

Place was nearly standing room only. Had to just kind of ease along with the crowd to get anywhere.

Lots of guns priced at retail. A few guns I didn't even know existed. One interesting shotgun was a Rock Island Armory 12 gauge. Looked like an 870 with a barrel shroud (the shoulder thingy that goes up).

I was only there about an hour. I'll probably go back tomorrow to see if anyone has decided to put that elusive k-frame on display for me.

    I traded mine on a S&W 29, nickel plated .44 Magnum

    I love the .44

    But I miss the .357

I am with you. I don't think any living creature would want to be on the receiving end of either cartridge.

    But dammit! I have a j-frame and an n-frame.

I shouldn't have had to give up a k-frame for the n-frame, and I want an L-frame too!

They come up quite often at smith-wessonforum.com, but go quickly when priced right. A nice M66 with forged lockwork & factory wood just went for $400ish, but it was gone in under ten minutes. Currently there's a 3" M65-5 for $500, been there over a week.

Would you be interested in a 4" nickel 19? A buddy called last week and asked if I wanted to buy his.

Only problem is I leave for Iraq on Wednesday, and the FFL transfers are expensive as hell

If it's the right gun for the right price, however, we might make something happen

If CJ takes a pass, I'd like a shot. Is it P&R?

If it's P&R, I'll pay more. Cash. In advance.

    I do.

I pay others to do that for me, too. They're pretty good at it. Just gotta keep 'em likin' me. That ain't too difficult.
