Has anyone else been running into this? I have been plagued by it for four days now, during any time of the day or night. I can get on the sight but I get the Too Busy message when I try to click on a subject. It has also taken ages for pages to load, but I've noticed that not all the little icons are coming up so I think that is why it's taking so long to load. Anyone else????

It took over eight minutes just to post this.

Do you get that message when you click on a forum or on a particular thread within a forum? If it happens when clicking on a forum you may find that adjusting the number of days at the bottom of the page to a smaller number like 5 days will allow the page to load quicker. If this works you can make an adjustment in your user options to make this a user default.

I only have it set for two days. My problem seems to go like this. I'll click on "Post Reply" and it will go right to the reply page but I'll only see the GT logo at the top. Then it takes about a minute for the reply page to actually come up.

The same if I click on a topic. I'll get the page, but it takes for ever to get the text. Someone had even mentioned that it might be due to the WorldCom thing because they ran half of the internet traffic themselves.

Maybe it'll work it self out soon. Thanks.

NO not that! My advice is RUN! Run away fast! j/k

Sorry I'm not sure what the problem is. Maybe one of the more computer savvy folks around here can help you get your fix. :) Good luck.

Well, at least I'll be able to run faster than these pages are loading. :)

I still think it has something to do with the avatars, smilies, and some other icons not loading. It's like the page is waiting for these things to load.

Well, just as strangely as it started, it ended this morning when I went online. Speed and everything else is working just fine.

Glen, nothing changed on my network, then or now. The problem must have been elsewhere...Eric
