Bond never said vodka martini in a movie or a book. He did say "Shaken, not stirred" however. And according to Ian Flemming, the James Bond Martini was a Vesper Martini which uses 3 ounces of GIN for the genuine martini flavor and only one ounce of vodka just to give it a unique taste.
Four ounces of Vodka would give it that awful isopropyl alcohol taste that Vodka has.

Where I live you can't find a good dog to save your life. Along similar lines some of the joints out here put lettuce and pickles on a gyros. Can you believe that? Heathens!

I don't care for dirty Martinis either but I alternate between three olives or two cocktail onions in mine depending on the mood. tom.
I have the leftovers of a 2 pound meatloaf so a slice warmed up in the micro and some instant mashed taters.
