A friend called today and needed some cash for a windshield, anyway he wants me to buy his G29 for $375.00.I don't know anything about the 10mm series, other than the price is good.Is this a controllable gun or a hand cannon. From what i've seen it hasn't been shot much nor does it have a rail so i think it is a gen 2 which is fine.

Is this something i can carry/use or should i pass it on to someone else.

Jump on it. A lot of love here for the G29. Even if it turns out that you don't like it you could make a quick 50 bucks or so just reselling it.

Never had one, but they are nice little guns. The 10mm is a rough caliber to shoot (BUT it is controlable with practice)... of course, on the receiving end, it is VERY effective.

I wouldnt mind adding a 10mm to my collection. I'd only do it if I was in your situation though....

I never shot one either so I cant comment on its controllability. But I really cant imagine it being THAT bad. I've been to range and rented their desert eagle (I know its quite a bit heavier) but we were firing it with one hand with reloads that were so hot it literally blew out the light bulb in our lane and that wasnt even that bad...

It is the best gun Glock has ever made... besides the G18. So, buy it now or regret it later. I have a G20 and G29 both are amazing guns.

I started with a g-19 then a g-21. Love them both but I had the opportunity to shoot the g-29 and fell in love with it. Hardcore round that is alot of fun to shoot. I love it so much that I am purchasing one from ed's tomorrow. At that price I wouldn't pass it up. Go for it you won't regret it.

So i'm heading out to snag this critter in the am,it doesn't come with any ammo and i'm not sure if there is any local. What kind of ammo should i look for.

Though i did come across a box of real black talons for $49.00.

I love the G29......seems to be a gentle cat to shoot, even with DoubleTapp Ammo.

Ok i did it this am, i went and bought it.It came with box, papers, night sights,2 mags, and a 10 rounds of ammo so i could test fire it.I came home and looked it over real good inside and out.It doesn't look like it's been shot hardly at all.I couldn't wait to get it to range so i stepped out on the back porch and let it rip.It felt pushy but not bad at all, almost like a .45.Over all i'm impressed and as soon as i do my range test i may start carrying it.

I had one pissed I sold it. Bought a G20 love it. Start reloading if you don't already. I never had any issues shooting the G29.
